What would stop one from saying, "God's glory" instead of glory of God? If "the glory" is accusative, should it not go at the end of the sentence as the direct object?
I would see "glory of God" following Professor Mounce's recommendation to use the key word "of" for the genitive case at this stage. Otherwise, it seems you have properly expressed the English possessive case.
