Then all the people of the surrounding region of the Gerasenes asked Jesus to go away from them, because they were seized with a great fear (phobō | φόβῳ | dat sg masc). So he got into a boat and returned.
Fear (phobos | φόβος | nom sg masc) gripped them all, and they glorified God, saying, “A great prophet has arisen among us!” and, “God has come to help his people!”
Astonishment gripped them all, and they began to glorify God. They were filled with awe (phobou | φόβου | gen sg masc), saying, “We have seen incredible things today.”
Fear (phobos | φόβος | nom sg masc) came upon all who lived around them, and all these things were being talked about throughout the whole hill country of Judea.
And they were filled with great fear (phobon | φόβον | acc sg masc) great and said to one another, “Who then is this, is that even the wind and the sea obey him?”
