And enormous hailstones (chalaza | χάλαζα | nom sg fem), about one hundred pounds each, fell from heaven and people blasphemed God for the plague of hail (chalazēs | χαλάζης | gen sg fem), because the plague was so devastating.

Then the temple of God, which is in heaven, was opened, and the ark of his covenant was seen within his temple; and there were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake, and heavy hail (chalaza | χάλαζα | nom sg fem).

The first angel blew his trumpet, and there followed hail (chalaza | χάλαζα | nom sg fem) and fire, mixed with blood, and it was thrown down on the earth, and a third of the earth was burned up, and a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up.

Let us rejoice (chairōmen | χαίρωμεν | pres act subj 1 pl) and be glad and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.

And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice (chairousin | χαίρουσιν | pres act ind 3 pl) over them and celebrate and send gifts to one another, because these two prophets had tormented those who dwell on the earth.

For I rejoiced (echarēn | ἐχάρην | aor pass ind 1 sg) greatly when the brothers came and testified to your fidelity to the truth, as indeed you do walk in the truth.

for the one who gives him a greeting (chairein | χαίρειν | pres act inf ) becomes a partner in his evil deeds.

If someone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house or give him any greeting (chairein | χαίρειν | pres act inf ),

I rejoiced (echarēn | ἐχάρην | aor pass ind 1 sg) greatly because I have found some of your children walking in the truth, just as we received commandment from the Father.

But rejoice (chairete | χαίρετε | pres act imperative 2 pl) insofar as you now share the sufferings of Christ, so that when his glory is revealed, you may also rejoice (charēte | χαρῆτε | aor pass subj 2 pl) and be glad.
