Those that fall on rock are the ones who, when they hear the word, receive it with joy (charas | χαρᾶς | gen sg fem); but they have no root — they believe for a while but in a time of testing they fall away.

But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I announce to you good news of a great joy (charan | χαράν | acc sg fem) which will be for all the people,

And for you there will be joy (chara | χαρά | nom sg fem) and gladness, and many will rejoice because of his birth,

These are the ones sown on rocky ground: ones sown whenever they hear the word, they immediately receive it with joy (charas | χαρᾶς | gen sg fem). they receive it

So they left the tomb at once, with fear and great joy (charas | χαρᾶς | gen sg fem), and ran to break the news to his disciples.

His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been trustworthy in a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Enter into the joy (charan | χαράν | acc sg fem) of your master.’

“The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field that a man found and covered up. Then in his joy (charas | χαρᾶς | gen sg fem) he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.

As for the one who was sown on rocky places, this is the one who hears the message and immediately receives it with joy (charas | χαρᾶς | gen sg fem);

And when they caught sight of the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy (charan | χαράν | acc sg fem).
