Therefore, my brothers, you whom I love and long for, my joy (chara | χαρά | voc sg fem) and crown, stand firm in the Lord in this way, my dear friends!
So, convinced of this, I know that I will remain, and I will continue with all of you for your progress and joy (charan | χαράν | acc sg fem) in the faith,
how that in a severe test of affliction, the fullness of their joy (charas | χαρᾶς | gen sg fem) and their extreme poverty have overflowed in the richness of their generosity.
Because of this we are encouraged. And in addition to our own encouragement, we rejoiced more than ever at the joy (chara | χαρᾷ | dat sg fem) of Titus, because his spirit has been refreshed by all of you.
I have great confidence in you; I take great pride in you. I am filled with encouragement; I am overflowing with joy (chara | χαρᾷ | dat sg fem) in all our distress.
And I wrote this very thing so that when I came, I would not have sorrow from those who ought to make me rejoice, having confidence in you all that my joy (chara | χαρά | nom sg fem) would be the joy of you all.
