And no one was permitted to buy or to sell unless he bore the mark (charagma | χάραγμα | acc sg neut), that is, the name of the beast or the number of his name.
He also caused everyone — small and great, rich and poor, free and slave — to receive a mark (charagma | χάραγμα | acc sg neut) on their right hand or on their forehead.
So since we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the divine being is like an image (charagmati | χαράγματι | dat sg neut) carved (charagmati | χαράγματι | dat sg neut) in gold or silver or stone by human skill and imagination.

Continue to obey your leaders and submit to them, for they keep watch over your souls as those who must give an account. Let them do this with joy (charas | χαρᾶς | gen sg fem), and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you.
