saying, “Prophesy to us, you messiah! (christe | χριστέ | voc sg masc) Who is it that struck you?”

But Jesus remained silent. Then the high priest said to him, “I put you under oath by the living God, tell us if you are the Messiah (christos | χριστός | nom sg masc), the Son of God.”

Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ (christos | χριστός | nom sg masc) or, ‘There he is!’ Do not believe him.

For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ (christos | χριστός | nom sg masc) and they will lead many astray.

Nor should you be called ‘instructors,’ because Christ (Christos | Χριστός | nom sg masc) is your only instructor.

“What do you think about the Messiah (christou | χριστοῦ | gen sg masc)? Whose son is he?” They said to him, “David’s.”

Then he ordered his disciples to tell no one that he was the Messiah (christos | χριστός | nom sg masc)

And Simon Peter answered, saying, “You are the Christ (christos | χριστός | nom sg masc), the Son of the living God.”

Now when John heard in prison about the works of the Messiah (Christou | Χριστοῦ | gen sg masc), he sent word through his disciples,

and gathering all the ruling priests and scribes of the people, he inquired of them where the Messiah (christos | χριστός | nom sg masc) was to be born.
