Or do you hold in contempt the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that God’s kindness (chrēston | χρηστόν | nom sg neut) is meant to lead you to repentance?
But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind (chrēstos | χρηστός | nom sg masc) to the ungrateful and evil.
For such people do not serve our Lord Christ but their own appetites. By their smooth (chrēstologias | χρηστολογίας | gen sg fem) talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the guileless.
and likewise the men also abandoned the natural sexual relation (chrēsin | χρῆσιν | acc sg fem) with women and burned in their passion for one another — men with men committing shameless acts and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.
For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions. Their women exchanged the natural sexual function (chrēsin | χρῆσιν | acc sg fem) for one that is unnatural,
Remind them of these things, solemnly charging them before God not to continue fighting about words, which results in nothing beneficial (chrēsimon | χρήσιμον | acc sg neut) but only in the ruin of those listening.
But what was God’s (chrēmatismos | χρηματισμός | nom sg masc) response to him? “I have kept for myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.”
