Yet we know where this man is from; when the Christ (christos | χριστός | nom sg masc) appears, no one will know where he is from.”

And look, he is speaking boldly and they are saying nothing to him. Is it possible that our rulers know for sure that this man is the Christ (christos | χριστός | nom sg masc)?

“Come and see a man who told me everything I have ever done! Could this man be the Messiah?” (christos | χριστός | nom sg masc)

The woman said to him, “I know that Messiah is coming (the one called Christ) (christos | χριστός | nom sg masc). When he comes, he will explain everything to us.”
