Fear gripped them all, and they glorified God, saying, “A great prophet has arisen among us!” (hēmin | ἡμῖν | dat pl 1st) and, “God has come to help his people!”
“Ha! What do you have to do with us (hēmin | ἡμῖν | dat pl 1st), Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us (hēmas | ἡμᾶς | acc pl 1st)? I know who you are — the Holy One of God!”
Soldiers were also questioning him, saying, “And we (hēmeis | ἡμεῖς | nom pl 1st), what should we do?” He said to them, “Do not extort money from anyone, or accuse them falsely; and be content with your wages.”
And when they saw him, they were astounded, and his mother said to him, “Child, why did you treat us (hēmin | ἡμῖν | dat pl 1st) like this? Look, your father and I have been terribly worried trying to find you.”
When the angels departed from them into heaven, the shepherds began to speak to one another, “Let us go across to Bethlehem and see this thing that has taken place, which the Lord has made known to us.” (hēmin | ἡμῖν | dat pl 1st)
