He has done this to show the mercy promised to our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) fathers, and to remember his holy covenant,

that we should be saved from our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) enemies, and from the hand of all who hate us (hēmas | ἡμᾶς | acc pl 1st).

For he has raised up a horn of salvation for us (hēmin | ἡμῖν | dat pl 1st) in the house of David his servant,

as he spoke to our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) fathers, to Abraham and his descendants forever.”

just as those who were, from the beginning, eyewitnesses and became ministers of the word, have delivered it to (hēmin | ἡμῖν | dat pl 1st) us (hēmin | ἡμῖν | dat pl 1st),

Inasmuch as many have taken it in hand to compile a narrative concerning the things that have been accomplished among us (hēmin | ἡμῖν | dat pl 1st),

And they were saying to themselves, “Who will roll away the stone for us (hēmin | ἡμῖν | dat pl 1st) from the entrance of the tomb?”

“We (hēmeis | ἡμεῖς | nom pl 1st) heard him saying, ‘I will destroy this temple made with hands, and in three days I will build another not made with hands.’”

And he will show you a large upper room, furnished and ready; there prepare for us.” (hēmin | ἡμῖν | dat pl 1st)

“Tell us (hēmin | ἡμῖν | dat pl 1st), when will these things be, and what will be the sign when all these things are about to take place?”
