And a vision in the night appeared to Paul: a man of Macedonia was standing there, urging him and saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us!” (hēmin | ἡμῖν | dat pl 1st)
it seemed good to us (hēmin | ἡμῖν | dat pl 1st), having reached agreement, to select men to send to you with our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) beloved Barnabas and Paul,
Since we have heard that some from among us (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) have gone out and troubled you with their words, unsettling your minds — we had given them no such instructions —
So now why are you testing God by putting a yoke on the neck of the disciples, which neither our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) ancestors nor we (hēmeis | ἡμεῖς | nom pl 1st) have been able to bear?
strengthening the souls of the disciples, encouraging them to continue in the faith, and saying, “It is through many tribulations that we (hēmas | ἡμᾶς | acc pl 1st) must enter the kingdom of God.”
saying, “Men, why are you doing these things? For we (hēmeis | ἡμεῖς | nom pl 1st) too are men subject to the same frailties as you, bringing you good news to turn away from these vain things to the living God, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and everything in them,
