So now you and the council give notice to the commanding officer to bring him down to you, as though you were going to examine his case more accurately; and we (hēmeis | ἡμεῖς | nom pl 1st) will be ready to kill him before he gets there.”
And he said, ‘The God of our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) fathers has chosen you to know his will, to see the Righteous One and to hear a voice from his mouth.
But as for the Gentiles who have believed, we (hēmeis | ἡμεῖς | nom pl 1st) sent a letter with our judgment that they should abstain from what has been sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from what has been strangled, and from sexual immorality.”
And some of the disciples from Caesarea came with us (hēmin | ἡμῖν | dat pl 1st), bringing Mnason of Cyprus, an early disciple, with whom we should lodge.
He came to us (hēmas | ἡμᾶς | acc pl 1st) and, taking Paul’s belt, he tied his own hands and feet with it and said, “The Holy Spirit says this: ‘This is how the Jews will tie up in Jerusalem the man whose belt this is, and will deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.’”
And having completed the voyage from Tyre, we (hēmeis | ἡμεῖς | nom pl 1st) came to Ptolemais, and we greeted the brothers and stayed one day with them.
