Jesus put another parable (parabolēn | παραβολήν | acc sg fem) before them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man sowing good seed in his field.

“Hear then the parable (parabolēn | παραβολήν | acc sg fem) of the sower:

This is why I speak to them in parables (parabolais | παραβολαῖς | dat pl fem), because seeing they do not see and hearing they do not hear nor do they understand.

And the disciples came to him and said, “Why do you speak to them in parables?” (parabolais | παραβολαῖς | dat pl fem)

And he told them many things in parables (parabolais | παραβολαῖς | dat pl fem), saying: “A sower went out to sow.

because he came close to death for the work of Christ, risking (paraboleusamenos | παραβολευσάμενος | aor mid ptcp nom sg masc) his life to make up for the help you were not able to give me.

And when she was baptized, and her household as well, she urged us, saying, “If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay.” And she prevailed (parebiasato | παρεβιάσατο | aor mid ind 3 sg) upon us.

but they urged (parebiasanto | παρεβιάσαντο | aor mid ind 3 pl) him strongly (parebiasanto | παρεβιάσαντο | aor mid ind 3 pl), saying, “Stay with us, for it is toward evening and the day is already far spent.” So he went in to stay with them.

For he who said, “Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do not commit murder.” Now if you do not commit adultery but do commit murder, you have become a transgressor (parabatēs | παραβάτης | nom sg masc) of the law.

But if you show favoritism, you are committing sin and are convicted by the law as transgressors (parabatai | παραβάται | nom pl masc).
