“Listen to another parable: (parabolēn | παραβολήν | acc sg fem) There was a landowner who planted a vineyard. He put a fence around it, dug a winepress in it, and built a watchtower. Then he leased it to tenants and went away on a journey.
Then he left the crowds and went into the house. And his disciples came to him, saying, “Explain to us the parable (parabolēn | παραβολήν | acc sg fem) of the weeds in the field.”
so that what was spoken by the prophet might be fulfilled, saying, “I will open my mouth in parables (parabolais | παραβολαῖς | dat pl fem); I will utter things kept secret from the foundation of the world.”
All these things Jesus spoke to the crowds in parables (parabolais | παραβολαῖς | dat pl fem), and without a parable (parabolēs | παραβολῆς | gen sg fem) he told them nothing;
He spoke another parable (parabolēn | παραβολήν | acc sg fem) to them: “The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and put into three measures of flour, until it was all leavened.”
He gave them another parable (parabolēn | παραβολήν | acc sg fem), saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his field.
