making the most of the time, because the days are evil (ponērai | πονηραί | nom pl fem).

who gave himself for our sins in order to rescue us from this present evil (ponērou | πονηροῦ | gen sg masc) age, according to the will of our God and Father,

But God will judge those outside. “Remove the evil (ponēron | πονηρόν | acc sg masc) person from among you.”

so that handkerchiefs and aprons were carried off from his body for the sick, and diseases were driven away by them and evil (ponēra | πονηρά | acc pl neut) spirits came out.
