who gave himself for our sins in order to rescue us from this present evil (ponērou | πονηροῦ | gen sg masc) age, according to the will of our God and Father,
And they said to him, “We have received no letters from Judea about you, nor have any of the brothers come from there and reported or spoken any bad (ponēron | πονηρόν | acc sg neut) about you.
And the man in whom was the evil (ponēron | πονηρόν | nom sg neut) spirit leaped on them, took control and overpowered all seven of them, so that they fled, naked and wounded, out of that house.
But some also of the itinerant Jews, exorcists, tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those having evil (ponēra | πονηρά | acc pl neut) spirits, saying, “I adjure you by that Jesus whom Paul proclaims.”
so that handkerchiefs and aprons were carried off from his body for the sick, and diseases were driven away by them and evil (ponēra | πονηρά | acc pl neut) spirits came out.
