As they were going out, they came across a man named Simon, from Cyrene. This man they conscripted to carry the cross (stauron | σταυρόν | acc sg masc).

Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone resolves to come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross (stauron | σταυρόν | acc sg masc) and follow me.

And whoever does not take up his cross (stauron | σταυρόν | acc sg masc) and follow me is not worthy of me.

But lest we offend them, go to the sea, cast in a hook, and take the first fish that comes up. When you have opened its mouth, you will find a four drachma coin (statēra | στατῆρα | acc sg masc); take it and give it to them for the two of us.”

By this the Holy Spirit is showing that the way into the real sanctuary had not yet been disclosed as long as the first tent was standing (stasin | στάσιν | acc sg fem).

For we found this man to be a troublemaker, one who stirs up riots (staseis | στάσεις | acc pl fem) among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes.

And when the argument (staseōs | στάσεως | gen sg fem) became violent, the commanding officer, afraid that Paul would be torn apart by them, commanded the soldiers to go down and take him away from among them by force and bring him into the barracks.

When he said this, an argument (stasis | στάσις | nom sg fem) broke out between the Pharisees and the Sadducees, and the assembly was divided.

For indeed we are in danger of being charged in connection with this day’s riot (staseōs | στάσεως | gen sg fem), there being no cause for it; and we will not be able to give an explanation for it.” And having said this, he dismissed the assembly.

And when Paul and Barnabas had no small argument (staseōs | στάσεως | gen sg fem) and debate with them, the brethren appointed Paul and Barnabas and some others among them to go up to Jerusalem to the apostles and elders regarding this issue.
