Then turning (strapheis | στραφείς | aor pass ptcp nom sg masc) toward the woman, he said to Simon, “You see this woman? I came into your house; you did not provide water for my feet, but she has bathed my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair.

When Jesus heard these things, he admired him. Turning (strapheis | στραφείς | aor pass ptcp nom sg masc) to the crowd that was following him, he said, “I tell you, not even in Israel have I found such faith.”

Then when Judas, his betrayer, saw that Jesus was condemned, he (estrepsen | ἔστρεψεν | aor act ind 3 sg) was filled with remorse and brought (estrepsen | ἔστρεψεν | aor act ind 3 sg) the thirty silver coins back (estrepsen | ἔστρεψεν | aor act ind 3 sg) to the ruling priests and elders,

said, “I tell you the truth, unless you change (straphēte | στραφῆτε | aor pass subj 2 pl) and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven!

But Jesus turned (strapheis | στραφείς | aor pass ptcp nom sg masc) and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are an obstacle in my way, because you are not thinking the thoughts of God but those of men.”

And when (strapheis | στραφείς | aor pass ptcp nom sg masc) Jesus turned (strapheis | στραφείς | aor pass ptcp nom sg masc) and saw her, he said, “Take courage, my daughter; your faith has made you well.” And the woman was healed at once.

“Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls in front of pigs, lest the pigs trample them underfoot, and the dogs turn (straphentes | στραφέντες | aor pass ptcp nom pl masc) and tear you to pieces.

But I say to you, do not resist the evildoer; but whoever slaps you on the right cheek, turn (strepson | στρέψον | aor act imperative 2 sg) to him the other as well.

as he does in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters, in which are some things hard to understand, things that the ignorant and unstable distort (streblousin | στρεβλοῦσιν | pres act ind 3 pl) to their own destruction, as they do the other scriptures.

“But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies (stratopedōn | στρατοπέδων | gen pl neut), then know that its desolation has drawn near.
