But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better (sympherei | συμφέρει | pres act ind 3 sg) for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and be drowned far out at sea.

And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away for it is better (sympherei | συμφέρει | pres act ind 3 sg) for you to lose a part of your body than to have your whole body thrown into hell.

If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away for it is better (sympherei | συμφέρει | pres act ind 3 sg) for you to lose a part of your body than to have your whole body thrown into hell.

Therefore I, a fellow elder (sympresbyteros | συμπρεσβύτερος | nom sg masc) and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and a partaker of the glory that is about to be revealed, exhort the elders among you:

Then he ordered them to have all the people sit down in groups (symposia | συμπόσια | acc pl neut) on the green grass.

While they were talking and debating these things, it happened that Jesus himself drew near and walked (syneporeueto | συνεπορεύετο | imperf mid ind 3 sg) along with them,

Great crowds of people were traveling (syneporeuonto | συνεπορεύοντο | imperf mid ind 3 pl) with him, and he turned and said to them,

It happened soon afterward that Jesus went to a town called Nain, and his disciples and a large crowd went (syneporeuonto | συνεπορεύοντο | imperf mid ind 3 pl) with him.

Then Jesus left that place and went to the region of Judea and beyond the Jordan, and crowds gathered (symporeuontai | συμπορεύονται | pres mid ind 3 pl) around him again. And again, as was his custom, he began to teach them.

So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow (sympolitai | συμπολῖται | nom pl masc) citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,
