Just then there came a man named Jairus. This man was a ruler of the synagogue (synagōgēs | συναγωγῆς | gen sg fem), and he fell at the feet of Jesus and implored him to come into his house,
It happened on another Sabbath that he went into the synagogue (synagōgēn | συναγωγήν | acc sg fem) and began to teach. A man was there whose right hand was withered.
After leaving the synagogue (synagōgēs | συναγωγῆς | gen sg fem), Jesus went to Simon’s house. Now Simon’s mother-in-law was suffering a severe fever, and they made a request to him on her behalf.
When he had rolled the scroll and given it back to the attendant, he sat down. And the eyes of everyone in the synagogue (synagōgē | συναγωγῇ | dat sg fem) were fixed on him.
He went to Nazareth where he had been brought up and, as was his custom on the Sabbath day, he went into the synagogue (synagōgēn | συναγωγήν | acc sg fem) and stood up to read.
