they love the place of honor at banquets and the most important seats in the synagogues (synagōgais | συναγωγαῖς | dat pl fem),

And upon arriving at his hometown, he taught them in their synagogue (synagōgē | συναγωγῇ | dat sg fem) so that they were amazed and said, “Where did this man get such wisdom and miraculous powers?

and will go out to deceive the nations at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather (synagagein | συναγαγεῖν | aor act inf ) them for battle. In number they are as the sand of the sea.

Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered (synēgmena | συνηγμένα | perf pass ptcp acc pl neut) to make war against the one who rode the horse and against his army.
