When Peter entered, Cornelius met (synantēsas | συναντήσας | aor act ptcp nom sg masc) him and fell at his feet and worshiped him.

He said to them, “Look, when you have entered the city, a man carrying a jar of water will meet (synantēsei | συναντήσει | fut act ind 3 sg) you. Follow him into the house into which he enters

Now on the next day, it so happened that when they had come down from the mountain, a large crowd met (synēntēsen | συνήντησεν | aor act ind 3 sg) him.

so that by God’s will I may come to you with joy and be refreshed (synanapausōmai | συναναπαύσωμαι | aor mid subj 1 sg) in your company (synanapausōmai | συναναπαύσωμαι | aor mid subj 1 sg).

Now if anyone does not obey what we say in this epistle, take note of that person and do (synanamignysthai | συναναμίγνυσθαι | pres mid inf ) not associate (synanamignysthai | συναναμίγνυσθαι | pres mid inf ) with him, so that he will feel ashamed.

But now I am writing to you not to associate (synanamignysthai | συναναμίγνυσθαι | pres mid inf ) with anyone who bears the name of brother if he is a sexually immoral or greedy person, an idolater, slanderer, drunkard, or swindler — not even to eat with such a one.

I wrote to you in my letter not to associate (synanamignysthai | συναναμίγνυσθαι | pres mid inf ) with sexually immoral people —

When one of those (synanakeimenōn | συνανακειμένων | pres mid ptcp gen pl masc) reclining (synanakeimenōn | συνανακειμένων | pres mid ptcp gen pl masc) at (synanakeimenōn | συνανακειμένων | pres mid ptcp gen pl masc) table (synanakeimenōn | συνανακειμένων | pres mid ptcp gen pl masc) with (synanakeimenōn | συνανακειμένων | pres mid ptcp gen pl masc) him heard him say these things, he said to him, “Blessed is the person who will eat bread in the kingdom of God!”

Rather, when you are invited, go and recline in the least important place so that when the one who invited you comes he may say to you, ‘Friend, move up higher!’ Then you will have glory in the presence of all who are reclining (synanakeimenōn | συνανακειμένων | pres mid ptcp gen pl masc) at table with you.

Then those reclining (synanakeimenoi | συνανακείμενοι | pres mid ptcp nom pl masc) at (synanakeimenoi | συνανακείμενοι | pres mid ptcp nom pl masc) table (synanakeimenoi | συνανακείμενοι | pres mid ptcp nom pl masc) with (synanakeimenoi | συνανακείμενοι | pres mid ptcp nom pl masc) him began to say to themselves, “Who is this, who even forgives sins?”
