You offspring of snakes! How can you, being evil, speak good (agatha | ἀγαθά | acc pl neut) things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

A healthy (agathon | ἀγαθόν | nom sg neut) tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can an unhealthy tree bear good fruit.

So, every healthy (agathon | ἀγαθόν | nom sg neut) tree bears good fruit, but the unhealthy tree bears bad fruit.

If then you, who are evil, know how to give good (agatha | ἀγαθά | acc pl neut) gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good (agatha | ἀγαθά | acc pl neut) things to those who ask him!

so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven, for he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good (agathous | ἀγαθούς | acc pl masc), and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

or to governors as those sent by him for the punishment of those who do evil and the praise of those who do good (agathopoiōn | ἀγαθοποιῶν | gen pl masc).

So then, let those who are suffering according to the will of God by doing (agathopoiia | ἀγαθοποιΐᾳ | dat sg fem) good (agathopoiia | ἀγαθοποιΐᾳ | dat sg fem) entrust their souls to a faithful Creator.

Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. The one who does good (agathopoiōn | ἀγαθοποιῶν | pres act ptcp nom sg masc) is of God; the one who does evil has not seen God.

For it is better to suffer for doing good (agathopoiountas | ἀγαθοποιοῦντας | pres act ptcp acc pl masc), if it is God’s will, than for doing evil.

just as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him “my lord.” You are her daughters if you do what is right (agathopoiousai | ἀγαθοποιοῦσαι | pres act ptcp nom pl fem) and do not fear any intimidation.
