And how are they to proclaim the message unless they are sent? As it is written, “How timely are the feet of those who preach good (agatha | ἀγαθά | acc pl neut) news!”
even before they were born or had done anything either good (agathon | ἀγαθόν | acc sg neut) or bad so that God’s purpose according to election might stand,
And we know that all things work together for good (agathon | ἀγαθόν | acc sg neut) for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose,
For I know that nothing good (agathon | ἀγαθόν | nom sg neut) dwells in me, that is, in my flesh; for I have the desire to do what is right, but I am unable to do it.
Did that which is good (agathon | ἀγαθόν | nom sg neut), then, become death to me? By no means! But sin, in order that it might be shown to be sin, produced death in me through that which is good (agathou | ἀγαθοῦ | gen sg neut) so that sin, through the commandment, might be sinful beyond measure
For rarely will one die for an upright person — though perhaps for a genuinely good (agathou | ἀγαθοῦ | gen sg masc) person one might actually dare to die.
And why not say (as some slanderously claim that we are saying), “Let us do evil so that good (agatha | ἀγαθά | nom pl neut) may come of it”? Their condemnation is well deserved!
