because they shed the blood of saints (hagiōn | ἁγίων | gen pl masc) and prophets, and you have given them blood to drink. It is what they deserve!”

This calls for endurance on the part of the saints (hagiōn | ἁγίων | gen pl masc), those who keep the commandments of God and hold fast to their faith in Jesus.

he also will drink of the wine of God’s wrath, poured full strength into the cup of his wrath, and he will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy (hagiōn | ἁγίων | gen pl masc) angels and in the presence of the Lamb.

If anyone is meant for captivity, into captivity he will go. If anyone is to be killed by the sword, by the sword he will be killed. This calls for the endurance and faithfulness of the saints (hagiōn | ἁγίων | gen pl masc).

The beast was allowed to make war against the saints (hagiōn | ἁγίων | gen pl masc) and to conquer them. And he was given authority over every tribe and people and language and nation.

The nations raged, but your wrath came; and the time for the dead to be judged, and the time to reward your servants, the prophets and saints (hagiois | ἁγίοις | dat pl masc), and those who fear your name, both small and great, and the time to destroy the destroyers of the earth.”

but exclude the court that is outside the temple; do not measure it because it has been given to the nations. And they will trample the holy (hagian | ἁγίαν | acc sg fem) city for forty-two months.

And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints (hagiōn | ἁγίων | gen pl masc), rose before God from the hand of the angel.

And another angel came and stood at the altar, holding a golden censer. To him was given a large quantity of incense to offer up, with the prayers of all the saints (hagiōn | ἁγίων | gen pl masc), on the golden altar that is before the throne.

And they cried out with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Sovereign Lord, holy (hagios | ἅγιος | voc sg masc) and true, before you bring judgment and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”
