And when they heard this, they entered the temple at daybreak and began to teach. But when the high priest came, and those who were with him, they called together the council and all the elders of the sons of Israel and they sent to the prison to have them brought (achthēnai | ἀχθῆναι | aor pass inf ) before them.

On hearing these words, Pilate brought (ēgagen | ἤγαγεν | aor act ind 3 sg) Jesus out and sat down on the judge’s bench in the place called “Stone Pavement,” or in Hebrew, “Gabbatha.”

Once more Pilate went out and said to them, “Look, I am bringing (agō | ἄγω | pres act ind 1 sg) him out to you that you may know that I find no basis for an accusation against him.”

Then they took (agousin | ἄγουσιν | pres act ind 3 pl) Jesus from Caiaphas to the governor’s headquarters. It was early, and they did not go into the governor’s headquarters so that they would not be defiled, but could eat the Passover meal.

They took (ēgagon | ἤγαγον | aor act ind 3 pl) him first to Annas, for he was the father-in-law of Caiaphas, who was high priest that year.

but so the world may know that I love the Father, I do exactly as the Father commanded me. Rise up, let us go (agōmen | ἄγωμεν | pres act subj 1 pl) from this place!

So Thomas (called the Twin), said to his fellow disciples, “Let us also go (agōmen | ἄγωμεν | pres act subj 1 pl), that we may die with him.”

and for your sake I am glad that I was not there. But let us go (agōmen | ἄγωμεν | pres act subj 1 pl) to him.”

Then after this he said to the disciples, “Let us go (agōmen | ἄγωμεν | pres act subj 1 pl) to Judea again.”

I have other sheep which are not of this fold. These too I must bring (agagein | ἀγαγεῖν | aor act inf ). They will listen to my voice, and there will be one flock, with one shepherd.
