Those who conducted Paul brought (ēgagon | ἤγαγον | aor act ind 3 pl) him as far as Athens, and receiving an order for Silas and Timothy to come to him as soon as possible, they left.
and when he had found him, he brought (ēgagen | ἤγαγεν | aor act ind 3 sg) him to Antioch. For a whole year they met with the church and taught a considerable number of people. And in Antioch the disciples were first called Christians.
But Barnabas took him and brought (ēgagen | ἤγαγεν | aor act ind 3 sg) him to the apostles and he related to them how on the road he had seen the Lord, and that the Lord had spoken to him, and how in Damascus he had spoken out boldly in the name of Jesus.
And all who heard him were astonished and said, “Is not this the man who in Jerusalem was trying to destroy those who called on this name? And has he not come here for the very purpose of bringing (agagē | ἀγάγῃ | aor act subj 3 sg) them bound before the chief priests?”
and requested from him letters to Damascus addressed to the synagogues, that if he found any who were of the Way, men or women, he (agagē | ἀγάγῃ | aor act subj 3 sg) should (agagē | ἀγάγῃ | aor act subj 3 sg) bring (agagē | ἀγάγῃ | aor act subj 3 sg) them bound to Jerusalem.
Now the passage of scripture the man was reading was this: “As a sheep to the slaughter he was led (ēchthē | ἤχθη | aor pass ind 3 sg), and as a lamb dumb before its shearer, so he opens not his mouth.
And they incited the people and the elders and the scribes, and they suddenly moved in and seized him and brought (ēgagon | ἤγαγον | aor act ind 3 pl) him before the council,
Then the captain went with the officers and brought (ēgen | ἦγεν | imperf act ind 3 sg) them, but not with force, for they feared the people, lest they be stoned.
