But Peter motioned to them with his hand to be silent, and he related how the Lord had brought him out of the prison. And he said, “Tell these things to James and to the brothers.” (adelphois | ἀδελφοῖς | dat pl masc) Then he departed and went to another place.

He had James the brother (adelphon | ἀδελφόν | acc sg masc) of John put to death with the sword,

So each of the disciples, according to his financial ability, resolved to send relief to the brothers (adelphois | ἀδελφοῖς | dat pl masc) living in Judea,

And the Spirit told me to go with them without hesitating. And with me went also these six brothers (adelphoi | ἀδελφοί | nom pl masc), and we went into the house of the man.

Now the apostles and the brothers (adelphoi | ἀδελφοί | nom pl masc) who were throughout Judea heard that the Gentiles too had accepted the word of God.

So he invited them in and gave them lodging. On the next day he got up and set out with them, and some of the brothers (adelphōn | ἀδελφῶν | gen pl masc) from Joppa went with him.

And when the brothers (adelphoi | ἀδελφοί | nom pl masc) learned about this, they took him down to Caesarea and sent him off to Tarsus.

So Ananias went entered the house; he placed his hands on Saul and said, “Brother (adelphe | ἀδελφέ | voc sg masc) Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road by which you came, has sent me so that you may recover your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”

This is the Moses who said to the sons of Israel, ‘God will raise up a prophet for you from among your brothers (adelphōn | ἀδελφῶν | gen pl masc), as he raised up me.’

On the following day he appeared to them as they were quarreling and tried to reconcile them to be at peace, saying, ‘Men, you are brothers (adelphoi | ἀδελφοί | nom pl masc). Why are you hurting one another?’
