no longer as a slave, but more than a slave, as a dear brother (adelphon | ἀδελφόν | acc sg masc). He is especially so to me, but how much more to you, both in the flesh and in the Lord.
For I have derived much joy and encouragement from your love, my (adelphe | ἀδελφέ | voc sg masc) brother (adelphe | ἀδελφέ | voc sg masc), because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed by you.
And let those who have believing masters not despise them because they are brothers (adelphoi | ἀδελφοί | nom pl masc); rather, let them serve all the more since those benefiting from their act of kindness are believers and beloved. Teach and urge these things.
By placing these things before the brethren (adelphois | ἀδελφοῖς | dat pl masc), you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, being trained by the words of the faith and of the good teaching that you have followed.
But we charge you, brothers (adelphoi | ἀδελφοί | voc pl masc), in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to stay away from any brother (adelphou | ἀδελφοῦ | gen sg masc) who conducts himself in a disorderly manner and not according to the tradition that they received from us.
