Therefore, my brothers (adelphoi | ἀδελφοί | voc pl masc), be all the more eager to confirm your call and election. For by doing these things you will never come to ruin.
By Silvanus, a faithful brother (adelphou | ἀδελφοῦ | gen sg masc) as I regard him, I have written briefly to you, exhorting and testifying that this is the true grace of God. Stand fast in it.

Whoever speaks against a brother (adelphou | ἀδελφοῦ | gen sg masc) or judges his brother (adelphon | ἀδελφόν | acc sg masc), speaks against the law and judges the law; but if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge of it.
