And taking with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, he began to be sorrowful and troubled (adēmonein | ἀδημονεῖν | pres act inf ).

So I do not run aimlessly (adēlōs | ἀδήλως | adverb); I do not box like one flailing the air.

Urge the rich in the present age not to be haughty, or to set their hope on the uncertainty (adēlotēti | ἀδηλότητι | dat sg fem) of riches but on God who grants to us all things richly for our enjoyment,

Again, if the bugle gives an uncertain (adēlon | ἄδηλον | acc sg fem) call, who will get ready for battle?

Woe to you! For you are like unmarked (adēla | ἄδηλα | nom pl neut) tombs; people walk over them without realizing it.”

Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same kind of sufferings are being endured by your fellow (adelphotēti | ἀδελφότητι | dat sg fem) believers (adelphotēti | ἀδελφότητι | dat sg fem) throughout the world.

Honor everyone; love the brotherhood (adelphotēta | ἀδελφότητα | acc sg fem); reverence God; honor the king.

But he said to me, “Do not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers (adelphōn | ἀδελφῶν | gen pl masc) the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God!”

Then I fell down at his feet to worship him, but he said to me, “Do not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers (adelphōn | ἀδελφῶν | gen pl masc) who hold to the testimony about Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony about Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

Then I heard a loud voice in heaven saying, “Just now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ, because the accuser of our brothers (adelphōn | ἀδελφῶν | gen pl masc) has been thrown down, the one who accuses them day and night before our God.
