The end of all things is at hand, so use sound judgment (sōphronēsate | σωφρονήσατε | aor act imperative 2 pl) and be sober-minded for the sake of prayer.
For by the grace given to me I say to every one among you that he should not think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think with sober (sōphronein | σωφρονεῖν | pres act inf ) judgment, as God has assigned to each a measure of faith.

and they cried out in a loud voice, saying, “Salvation (sōtēria | σωτηρία | nom sg fem) belongs to our God who is seated on the throne and to the Lamb!”
Dear friends, although I was eager to write to you about our common salvation (sōtērias | σωτηρίας | gen sg fem), nevertheless I find it necessary to write and encourage you to carry on the struggle for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.
