(Now all the Athenians (Athēnaioi | Ἀθηναῖοι | nom pl masc) and the foreigners living there used to spend their time in nothing else than to tell or to hear something new.)
Now while Paul was waiting for them at Athens (Athēnais | Ἀθήναις | dat pl fem), his spirit was stirred up within him on seeing the city full of idols.
Those who conducted Paul brought him as far as Athens (Athēnōn | Ἀθηνῶν | gen pl fem), and receiving an order for Silas and Timothy to come to him as soon as possible, they left.
for then he would have had to suffer again and again since the foundation of the world. But as it is, he has appeared once for all at the climax of the ages to put away (athetēsin | ἀθέτησιν | acc sg fem) sin by his sacrifice.
Yet in the same way these people also, relying on their dreams, defile the flesh, reject (athetousin | ἀθετοῦσιν | pres act ind 3 pl) authority, and blaspheme the glorious ones.
