By faith he left Egypt (Aigypton | Αἴγυπτον | acc sg fem), not fearing the anger of the king, for he endured as though seeing the one who is invisible.

He considered abuse for the sake of Christ greater wealth than the treasures of Egypt (Aigyptou | Αἰγύπτου | gen sg fem), for he was looking ahead to his reward.

It will not be like the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt (Aigyptou | Αἰγύπτου | gen sg fem), because they did not continue in my covenant and I abandoned them, says the Lord.

For who were they who heard and rebelled? Were they not really all those who came out of Egypt (Aigyptou | Αἰγύπτου | gen sg fem) led by Moses?

The God of this people Israel chose our fathers and made the people great during their stay in the land of Egypt (Aigyptou | Αἰγύπτου | gen sg fem); then with uplifted arm he led them out of it.

He led them out, performing wonders and signs in Egypt (Aigyptō | Αἰγύπτῳ | dat sg fem) and at the Red Sea and in the wilderness for forty years.

Surely I have seen the oppression of my people in Egypt (Aigyptō | Αἰγύπτῳ | dat sg fem), and I have heard their groaning, and I have come down to deliver them. Now come, I will send you back to Egypt.’ (Aigypton | Αἴγυπτον | acc sg fem)

until there arose another king over Egypt (Aigypton | Αἴγυπτον | acc sg fem) who did not know Joseph.
