But I ask, have (ēkousan | ἤκουσαν | aor act ind 3 pl) they (ēkousan | ἤκουσαν | aor act ind 3 pl) not heard (ēkousan | ἤκουσαν | aor act ind 3 pl)? Indeed they have, for, “Their voice has gone out to all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world.”

But how are they to call on one in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in one of whom they (ēkousan | ἤκουσαν | aor act ind 3 pl) have (ēkousan | ἤκουσαν | aor act ind 3 pl) never heard (ēkousan | ἤκουσαν | aor act ind 3 pl)? And how are they to hear (akousōsin | ἀκούσωσιν | aor act subj 3 pl) unless someone proclaims the message?

So let it be known to you that this salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles; even they will listen.” (akousontai | ἀκούσονται | fut mid ind 3 pl)

for the heart of this people has become dull, and they (ēkousan | ἤκουσαν | aor act ind 3 pl) hear (ēkousan | ἤκουσαν | aor act ind 3 pl) with difficultly with their ears, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear (akousōsin | ἀκούσωσιν | aor act subj 3 pl) with their ears and understand with their heart and turn, and I should heal them.’

“‘Go to this people, and say, “You will indeed hear but never understand, and you will indeed see but never perceive”;

But we desire to (akousai | ἀκοῦσαι | aor act inf ) hear (akousai | ἀκοῦσαι | aor act inf ) from you what you think, for with regard to this sect it is known to us that everywhere it is spoken against.”

And the brothers there, when they heard (akousantes | ἀκούσαντες | aor act ptcp nom pl masc) about us, came as far as the Forum of Appius and Three Taverns to meet us. On seeing them, Paul gave thanks to God and took courage.

Paul replied, “I would to God that whether the time be short or long, not only you but also all those who are listening (akouontas | ἀκούοντας | pres act ptcp acc pl masc) to me today would also become as I am, apart for these chains.”

And when we had all fallen to the ground, I heard (ēkousa | ἤκουσα | aor act ind 1 sg) a voice saying to me in the Hebrew language, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’

especially because you are well acquainted with all the customs and controversies of the Jews. Therefore I beg you to (akousai | ἀκοῦσαι | aor act inf ) listen (akousai | ἀκοῦσαι | aor act inf ) to (akousai | ἀκοῦσαι | aor act inf ) me patiently.
