Then I looked, and I heard (ēkousa | ἤκουσα | aor act ind 1 sg) the voice of many angels surrounding the throne and the living creatures and the elders; and their number was ten thousand times ten thousand and thousands of thousands,
After this I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven! And the first voice, which I had heard (ēkousa | ἤκουσα | aor act ind 1 sg) speaking to me like a trumpet, said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.”
Take note! I am standing at the door and knocking. If anyone hears (akousē | ἀκούσῃ | aor act subj 3 sg) my voice and opens the door, I will enter his house and eat with him, and he with me.
Remember, then, what you received and heard (ēkousas | ἤκουσας | aor act ind 2 sg); obey it, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come against you.
