The sixth angel blew his trumpet, and I heard (ēkousa | ἤκουσα | aor act ind 1 sg) a voice from the four horns of the golden altar that is before God,

Then I looked, and I heard (ēkousa | ἤκουσα | aor act ind 1 sg) an eagle crying with a loud voice as it flew directly overhead, “Woe, woe, woe to those who live on the earth because of the blasts of the other trumpets that the three angels are about to blow!”

And I heard (ēkousa | ἤκουσα | aor act ind 1 sg) the number of those who were sealed, one hundred forty-four thousand, sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel:

And when he opened the fourth seal, I heard (ēkousa | ἤκουσα | aor act ind 1 sg) the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come!”

And I heard (ēkousa | ἤκουσα | aor act ind 1 sg) what seemed to be a voice in the midst of the four living creatures, saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius, but do not harm the oil and the wine!”

And when he opened the third seal, I heard (ēkousa | ἤκουσα | aor act ind 1 sg) the third living creature saying, “Come!” And I looked, and behold, a black horse! And its rider had a pair of scales in his hand.

And when he opened the second seal, I heard (ēkousa | ἤκουσα | aor act ind 1 sg) the second living creature saying, “Come!”

Then I watched as the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard (ēkousa | ἤκουσα | aor act ind 1 sg) one of the four living creatures say with a voice like thunder, “Come!”

Then I (ēkousa | ἤκουσα | aor act ind 1 sg) heard (ēkousa | ἤκουσα | aor act ind 1 sg) every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying, “To the one seated on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and might forever and ever!”
