And you know that he appeared (ephanerōthē | ἐφανερώθη | aor pass ind 3 sg) to take away our sins, and that there is no sin in him.

Dear friends, at the present time we are children of God, and it (ephanerōthē | ἐφανερώθη | aor pass ind 3 sg) has (ephanerōthē | ἐφανερώθη | aor pass ind 3 sg) not yet been revealed (ephanerōthē | ἐφανερώθη | aor pass ind 3 sg) what we will be. But we do know that when he is revealed (phanerōthē | φανερωθῇ | aor pass subj 3 sg) we will be like him, because we will see him just as he is.

And now, dear children, abide in him, so that when he appears (phanerōthē | φανερωθῇ | aor pass subj 3 sg) we may have confidence and not be put to shame in his presence when he comes.

They went out from us but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us. But they went out from us that it might become plain (phanerōthōsin | φανερωθῶσιν | aor pass subj 3 pl) that none of them are of us.

and revealed (ephanerōsen | ἐφανέρωσεν | aor act ind 3 sg) his word at the proper time in the proclamation, with which I have been entrusted by the command of God our Savior,
