But these people, like irrational animals, born creatures of instinct to be captured and destroyed, are ignorant of those whom they slander, and in their destruction will (phtharēsontai | φθαρήσονται | fut pass ind 3 pl) themselves (phtharēsontai | φθαρήσονται | fut pass ind 3 pl) also be destroyed (phtharēsontai | φθαρήσονται | fut pass ind 3 pl),
Regarding your former way of life, you were taught to put away your old self, which is being corrupted (phtheiromenon | φθειρόμενον | pres pass ptcp acc sg masc) and deluded by its desires,
But I am afraid, however, that just as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be led astray (phtharē | φθαρῇ | aor pass subj 3 sg) from the simplicity and purity that is in Christ.
Make room for us in your hearts; we have wronged no one, we (ephtheiramen | ἐφθείραμεν | aor act ind 1 pl) have (ephtheiramen | ἐφθείραμεν | aor act ind 1 pl) corrupted (ephtheiramen | ἐφθείραμεν | aor act ind 1 pl) no one, we have taken advantage of no one.
If anyone destroys (phtheirei | φθείρει | pres act ind 3 sg) God’s temple, God will destroy (phtherei | φθερεῖ | fut act ind 3 sg) him. For God’s temple is holy, and that is what you are.
