They had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound (phōnē | φωνή | nom sg fem) of their wings was like the sound (phōnē | φωνή | nom sg fem) of many horse-drawn chariots rushing into battle.
Then I looked, and I heard an eagle crying with (phōnē | φωνῇ | dat sg fem) a loud voice (phōnē | φωνῇ | dat sg fem) as it flew directly overhead, “Woe, woe, woe to those who live on the earth because of the blasts (phōnōn | φωνῶν | gen pl fem) of the other trumpets that the three angels are about to blow!”
Then the angel took the censer and filled it with fire from the altar and threw it down on the earth, and there were peals of thunder, rumblings (phōnai | φωναί | nom pl fem), flashes of lightning, and an earthquake.
Then I saw another angel ascending from the rising of the sun, with the seal of the living God. And he called out in a loud voice (phōnē | φωνῇ | dat sg fem) to the four angels who had been given power to harm the earth and the sea,
And they cried out with a loud voice (phōnē | φωνῇ | dat sg fem), saying, “How long, O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, before you bring judgment and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”
And I heard what seemed to be a voice (phōnēn | φωνήν | acc sg fem) in the midst of the four living creatures, saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius, but do not harm the oil and the wine!”
Then I watched as the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures say with (phōnē | φωνή | dat sg fem) a voice (phōnē | φωνή | dat sg fem) like thunder, “Come!”
saying with a loud voice (phōnē | φωνῇ | dat sg fem), “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and praise!”
