Then I looked, and I heard the voice (phōnēn | φωνήν | acc sg fem) of many angels surrounding the throne and the living creatures and the elders; and their number was ten thousand times ten thousand and thousands of thousands,
Out from the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings (phōnai | φωναί | nom pl fem), and peals of thunder. Seven torches of fire, which are the seven spirits of God, were burning before the throne,
After this I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven! And the first voice (phōnē | φωνή | nom sg fem), which I had heard speaking to me like a trumpet, said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.”
Take note! I am standing at the door and knocking. If anyone hears my voice (phōnēs | φωνῆς | gen sg fem) and opens the door, I will enter his house and eat with him, and he with me.
His feet were like burnished bronze, refined in a furnace, and his voice (phōnē | φωνή | nom sg fem) was like the roar (phōnē | φωνή | nom sg fem) of many waters.
But he was rebuked for his own transgression — a dumb donkey, speaking with the voice (phōnē | φωνῇ | dat sg fem) of a man, restrained the madness of the prophet.
