For thus the Lord has commanded us: ‘I have appointed you to be a light (phōs | φῶς | acc sg neut) for the Gentiles, to bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’”
And behold, an angel of the Lord suddenly appeared, and a light (phōs | φῶς | nom sg neut) shone in the cell. He struck the side of Peter and woke him, saying, “Get up quickly.” And the chains fell off his hands.
While you have the light (phōs | φῶς | acc sg neut), believe in the light (phōs | φῶς | acc sg neut), so that you may become sons of light.” (phōtos | φωτός | gen sg neut) When Jesus said these things, he went away and hid himself from them.
Then Jesus said to them, “The light (phōs | φῶς | nom sg neut) will be with you for yet a little while. Keep walking while you have the light (phōs | φῶς | acc sg neut), so that the darkness will not overtake you. The one who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going.
Jesus answered, “Are there not twelve hours in a day? If a person walks during the day, he will not stumble, because he sees the light (phōs | φῶς | acc sg neut) of this world.
Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light (phōs | φῶς | nom sg neut) of the world. The one who follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light (phōs | φῶς | acc sg neut) of life.”
