Then he answered, them, “Go and tell John what you have seen and heard: the blind see, the lame (chōloi | χωλοί | nom pl masc) walk, lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised, the poor have good news brought to them.
And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off; it is better for you to enter into life lame (chōlon | χωλόν | acc sg masc) than having two feet to be cast into hell.
