The Pharisee stood and prayed like this to himself: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like the rest of mankind — swindlers, rogues, adulterers, or even like (hōs | ὡς | particle) this tax collector.
And the Lord said, “If you had faith like (hōs | ὡς | particle) a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this sycamore, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.
Then Jesus also said to his disciples, “There was a rich man who had a manager, and charges were brought to him that (hōs | ὡς | particle) this man was wasting his assets.
So (hōs | ὡς | conj) when (hōs | ὡς | conj) you go with your opponent before the magistrate, make an effort to receive a settlement from him on the way; otherwise he will drag you off to the judge, and the judge will hand you over to the bailiff, and the bailiff will throw you into prison.
