Then Jesus left that place and went to the region of Judea and beyond the Jordan, and crowds gathered around him again. And again, as (hōs | ὡς | conj) was his custom, he began to teach them.
And he said to them, “Isaiah prophesied accurately about you hypocrites, as (hōs | ὡς | conj) it is written: ‘This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
When Jesus got out of the boat, he saw the large crowd, and had compassion on them, because they were like (hōs | ὡς | particle) sheep without a shepherd. And he began to teach them many things.
So he gave them permission. Then the unclean spirits came out and entered the pigs. The herd (about (hōs | ὡς | particle) two thousand strong) rushed down the steep bank into the sea (about (hōs | ὡς | particle) two thousand and was drowned.
