If one of the unbelievers invites you to a meal and you decide to go, eat whatever is set before (paratithemenon | παρατιθέμενον | pres pass ptcp acc sg neut) you, asking no question based on conscience.
And now I commend (paratithemai | παρατίθεμαι | pres mid ind 1 sg) you to God and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up and to give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
explaining and demonstrating (paratithemenos | παρατιθέμενος | pres mid ptcp nom sg masc) that it was necessary for the Messiah to suffer and to rise from the dead, and that, “This one is the Messiah, this Jesus whom I am proclaiming to you.”
And when he had brought them up into his house, he set (parethēken | παρέθηκεν | aor act ind 3 sg) food before (parethēken | παρέθηκεν | aor act ind 3 sg) them; and he rejoiced, having placed his faith in God along with his entire household.
And when they had appointed elders for them in every church, praying with fasting, they committed (parethento | παρέθεντο | aor mid ind 3 pl) them to the Lord in whom they had believed.
Then Jesus, crying out in a loud voice, said, “Father, into your hands I commit (paratithemai | παρατίθεμαι | pres mid ind 1 sg) my spirit!” Having said this, he breathed his last.
But the one who did not know, and did things worthy of blows, will be beaten with few blows. Everyone to whom much was given, much will be required from him, and to whom much was handed (parethento | παρέθεντο | aor mid ind 3 pl) over, they will ask more of him.
Taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and said a blessing and broke them; then he gave them to the disciples to distribute (paratheinai | παραθεῖναι | aor act inf ) to the crowd.
