teaching us (hēmas | ἡμᾶς | acc pl 1st) that, having denied the ungodliness and the worldly passions, we should live in a self-controlled manner and justly and reverently in the present age,
not pilfering but showing completely good faithfulness so that they might adorn the teaching of God our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) Savior in all things.
beyond reproach in your healthy instruction, so that the opponent may be put to shame because he has nothing evil to say against us (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st).
and revealed his word at the proper time in the proclamation, with which I have been entrusted by the command of God our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) Savior,
but now has been made known through the appearing of our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) Savior, Christ Jesus, on the one hand, in order to abolish death and, on the other, to bring to light life and incorruptibility through the gospel,
who saved us (hēmas | ἡμᾶς | acc pl 1st) and called us to a holy calling, not because of our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) works but because of his own purpose and grace, which was given to us (hēmin | ἡμῖν | dat pl 1st) in Christ Jesus before time eternal,
Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony concerning our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) Lord nor of me his prisoner, but share in suffering for the sake of the gospel by the power of God,
