Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus, and Timothy our brother, to Philemon our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) dear friend and fellow worker,

All those with me greet you. Greet those who love us (hēmas | ἡμᾶς | acc pl 1st) in the faith. Grace be with all of you.

whom he richly poured out for us (hēmas | ἡμᾶς | acc pl 1st) through Jesus Christ our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) Savior,

not because of works of righteousness that we (hēmeis | ἡμεῖς | nom pl 1st) did but according to his mercy, he saved us (hēmas | ἡμᾶς | acc pl 1st), through the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit,

But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) Savior appeared,

For once we ourselves (hēmeis | ἡμεῖς | nom pl 1st) also were foolish, disobedient, being led astray, being enslaved by desires and various pleasures, living a life of evil and envy, detestable, hating one another.

who gave himself for us (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) so that he might redeem us (hēmas | ἡμᾶς | acc pl 1st) from all lawlessness and cleanse for himself a special people, a zealot for good works.

waiting for the blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) great God and Savior Jesus Christ,
