I tell you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) the truth, until heaven and earth pass away, not a single iota or one little stroke will pass from the law until everything takes place.
Let your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) light shine like that before others, so that they may see your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) good works and glorify your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) Father who is in heaven.”
“You (hymeis | ὑμεῖς | nom pl 2nd) are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how will it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything but to be thrown out and trampled under foot by those who pass by.
Rejoice and be very glad because your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) reward is great in heaven; for that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd).
