I tell you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) the truth, until heaven and earth pass away, not a single iota or one little stroke will pass from the law until everything takes place.

Let your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) light shine like that before others, so that they may see your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) good works and glorify your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) Father who is in heaven.”

You (hymeis | ὑμεῖς | nom pl 2nd) are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hidden.

“You (hymeis | ὑμεῖς | nom pl 2nd) are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how will it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything but to be thrown out and trampled under foot by those who pass by.

Rejoice and be very glad because your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) reward is great in heaven; for that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd).

Blessed are you when others revile you (hymas | ὑμᾶς | acc pl 2nd) and persecute you and say all kinds of evil against you (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) falsely on account of me.

And he said to them, “Come, follow me, and I will make you (hymas | ὑμᾶς | acc pl 2nd) fishers of men.”

“I baptize you (hymas | ὑμᾶς | acc pl 2nd) with water for repentance, but the one who comes after me is greater than I — I am not worthy even to remove his sandals. He will baptize you (hymas | ὑμᾶς | acc pl 2nd) with the Holy Spirit and with fire.

and do not presume you can say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father’; for I say to you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) that God is able from these stones to raise up children to Abraham.

But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming for baptism, he said to them, “You brood of vipers! Who warned you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) to flee from the coming wrath?
