The Lord said to him, “Now you (hymeis | ὑμεῖς | nom pl 2nd) Pharisees cleanse the outside of the cup and of the dish; but the inside of you (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) is full of greed and wickedness.
And if by Beelzebul I cast out demons, by whom do your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) sons cast them out? Therefore they will be your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) judges.
If you (hymeis | ὑμεῖς | nom pl 2nd) then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”
“So to you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) I say, ask and it will be given to you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd); seek and you will find; knock and it will be opened for you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd).
I say to you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd), even though he will not get up and give him anything because he is his friend, yet because of the prospect of being put to shame he will get up and give him as much as he needs.
He said to them, “Suppose one of you (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) has a friend, and you go to him at midnight and say to him, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves of bread,
For I tell you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) that many prophets and kings desired to see what you (hymeis | ὑμεῖς | nom pl 2nd) see, but did not see it, and to hear what you hear, but did not hear it.”
However, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd), but rejoice that your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) names have been recorded in heaven.”
